Description: A combination of architectural and landscape design services were provided for this modest residence in Ashland, MA. Due to side lot constraints and grade challenges, a custom design was required for this farmers porch addition. The porch provides much needed shading and cover on this south facing yard with extreme sun exposure. The hardscape and landscape help to minimize the transition from the driveway to the front door and creates a welcoming approach for family and friends. An overall landscaping design plan for the remainder of the yard was completed in collaboration with a landscape designer. |
