Description: Janez was engaged to complete design services for a family in Wayland when services were discontinued with another Architect. Through a series of design meetings, the initial design evolved to more accurately reflect the client's vision. The first floor of the home was transformed during construction to capture space from a three season porch. Interior walls were removed and relocated to open up the new kitchen and flow between spaces. A great room and mud room entry were also added to gain additional living space.
The client commented at the completion of the project that, " Our place has turned out really well and the Contractor overall has done a phenomenal job. In addition, everyone likes the design. The addition looks like it's always been here, rather than something that was an after thought. The design has added more space. More importantly, it has made the home much more functional." |
